How to make cordage from an empty 2 liter bottle

A chunk of plastic, molded correctly with a razor blade embedded in it and you've got yourself a cord maker to add to your BOB. If someone on here has some plastic skills/equipment you might be able to make a buck.

OK, I watched it twice and still am not sure how it works. :confused: SJ, when you make the video can you make an idiot's version for me? I guess use really small words and speak slowly. :noidea:

It was on the show just recently, I thought it was pretty cool and watched it several time.
Here's the deal;

The 2 liter bottle - Cut the bottom of it off at the seam and then cut a little strip about 4" long. This strip will be used to pull the material through the jig to make more cordage.

The stump - approximately 5" wide, 2/3 of the way across the stump cut a 1" deep slot into the stump. This is where the rim of the bottle will sit when you're pulling the strip through the jig. Make another 1" deep cut, so you can remove a notch from the bottom right hand corner. Stab your knife into the stump, over the top of the strip you cut and about 1/8 of an inch above the bottom of the notch.

I'm a terrible artist, but I drew you a picture, lol.
