Apparently HTA is making good on it, cut right down the fluting.
No baffle damage, so everything points to a pressure issue.

Man! I had the same issue with one. it wasn't catastrophic like yours but bulged all the way down the flute as if it was going to bust out the side. No baffle strike either. Luckily I caught it or it might have looked like yours. Havent sent back yet. need to though. Great suppressor for the money by the way. I have no doubt they will make it right. I wonder if they were made near the same time? Could be a batch problem possibly. Just wondering.

Not my can, but apparently this has happened before and they were quick to repair it.

I wonder if they replace the rear portion of the tube even though it isn't damaged. I assume tube thickness is uniform through the whole body of the tube.

No flutes on the Guardian9- I'd assume this would eliminate the weak point on the outer tube. Or a batch of their cans could have had a heat treat problem that didn't sufficiently strengthen the metal.

Well their tubes are 2 part pieces and the rear is the part with the SN, apparently they have not been requiring people to submit a new stamp.
