Attend one of the major matches, either USPSA or Steel Challenge, they usually have a booth were you can try them out. In my experience they do make a huge difference in sight, target clarity.

They are good glasses. They just don’t get dark enough for me. I have pretty sensitive eyes.
I’ll make ya a good deal on them if you want to try a pair. They are in Wiley-x frames.

I'll second this. They are a quality product and the company puts a ton back into the shooting sports, but they were just too bright for me on sunny days compared to my darker Oakley Prizm lenses.
