Was not cutting your stuff but you have a problem somewhere unless you throwing it around, you could have a broke screw on base or rings,or a scope that doesn't hold zero the best has flaw occasionally.i would completely take everything off and redo,if problem continued I would contact Nikon.Leuopold rings and nikon prostaff 3x9-50... Pretty expensive lol
I don't throw it around and it hasnt been dropped. I think it's just not holding a zero. I'm going to give my .35 remington a try and lay the .308 aside until next year..
Finally! I got a really nice 8 point back in Oct but that was at my friends farm in South GA. They have been really scarce up here at my place in Fannin. Had a few go past me my first time out the 2nd weekend of bow season but nothing since. Trail cams haven't even been catching many...
When I went out this morning I figured it would just be another day counting turkey and squirrels.
Had doe come out of the thick stuff I was setup near about 7:30 or so. I saw a nose for an instant and then it made a slight move where I could not even see. Probably spent 20-30 minutes where She just stomped her foot a few times a minute. I think the Tinks I had out had her spooked. I was too high and down wind for her to have been on to me. She finally changed her original path 90 deg and started walking along the thick stuff down the hill. Thought about shooting but wasn't very big so let walk. About 10 min later another one about same size came out of same spot and walked parallel to ridge the direction he first one was headed. Went directly under me not 15 feet from the base of the tree. When it got about 20 yards past me I heard another coming from down the hill where other had gone. Figured it was the same one but turned out to be a decent sized buck with scraggly rack. After I shot him another doe came from opposite direction on low side of hill and passed the dead buck. It was much bigger doe. Would have shot her if she had come out first since I was just looking to put some more in the freezer.
I'm just glad to finally have seen some again...
