I’ve gotten into popcorn lately, popcorn makers are too messy to clean up afterwards, I just use a pot, cheap Walmart popcorn does not pop good. Orville Redenbacher works best. I want to try some different oils, what do you use and what toppings do you like?

Back in, oh, I dunno, 1983-4 I worked at AMC Tower Place 6 theater during college. Across the street from the disco Kroger - Limelight night club. We got free popcorn/coke on our breaks. Ate it for days on end. Never got tired of it. Loves me some poppa-corn!

Now we just eat the microwave stuff from Costco. If feeling frosty will melt some butter on the stove and throw over it. Sometimes add pepper.

Remember the air poppers? Yeah, if those didn't kill popcorn I don't know what would. Long live popcorn!

We came across a whirley pop in Tennessee and got one just for the interesting factor for us. When online to their website and their free intro kit for buying it and haven't had any other popcorn since. Check them out at whirleypop.com. if you don't want the popper they also have the fixings.

coconut oil with some brown sugar makes for a killer kettle corn
