I finally found that Ultra Classic I’d been hunting!!!

Had that too back when. The new model I like but not dropping that much coin. This is just a casual toy at this point. The previous models, I don't really care for, for what I want now.
Again, don't think I really want a purpose built tourer.
CTX, ST, F6 etc possible, but no abominations known as DCT or "autos". Bleck!

All this the reason I went “Scrambler” this round. I actually looked at Ducati, Triump and BMW. Didn’t want dedicated tourer or even sport tourer or Dual Purpose… I have an ‘08 Electra Glide for my distance rides and wanted a nimble round town (country) short distance runner. They tout the BMW R NineT that I bought as a semi tourer with a touch of off-road capability.
We shall see. Picked it up a week ago and got a couple hundred miles on it now. So far I’m really enjoying the pep and power to weight. Time will tell.

A couple of things I did last year to make it Mine!

1)Switch out to Led lights the change in what you see is worth every penny.
2) put new bars on that fit you, under 12" bars is a simple change 14" like mine require all new cables.
3) Radio and speakers will probably be on your list as well.
4) torx set is a must if your going to do anything your self.
