I got my form 1 approved for SBR in just 33 days

Maker, not manufacturer ...thats what i meant..sorry. same concept for why you have to do it though. I really hated having to engrave at first, but it actually ends up looking nice with my name on them...plus i give each gun a name too now

I have several opinion letters from the ATF saying engraving is not required ( I am aware there are others that say it is but that is besides the point.). I engraved my first two and then stopped. Like you though, I have grown to like the engraving so I have now engraved them all.

Id love to get a letter from them...but im afraid to bring up questions they could just start saying "no" to, so i send no letters about anything.

Me: dear ATF, Can we do this?
ATF: we haven't even thought of that, but now that you ask...no

To be clear they aren't my letters, just ones found over the years. My only contact with the ATF is, "Here is my money" and "Yay, thanks for the stamp!"

Draft watermark fixed on my F1. I was disappointed though because I'm any day away from another F1 and I thought this was that one but instead it was just a fixed version of the previous.

...Still on the engraving issue? In the original spirit of this thread, I am still waiting on my eform 1 that I submitted on 12-30-2014.. What do yall think is the deal?
