I hate the fact that bullseye has everything I need. Kinda long

Bullseye is always a bit of a grab bag....they typically have the best all-around selection of guns, mags, holsters, etc. of all my local stores. I've bought two guns from them and paid just about the right price for each. The trick is to go when they're not crowded as all get out. I try to drop by about dinner time on the weekdays and that usually is slow enough to be able to browse in peace and even havea conversation with a couple of the more talkative employees there.

my new sig thanks...

You're welcome :thumb:

Sorry, I'm a Bullseye fan, have purchased several guns from them, ammo, mags, accessories etc. Always great service, always friendly with me, great pricing, and I always get good customer service... Plus they're close to my house!

That seems to be the trend also. Buy a few guns and they like you. Go in there for range time, ammo, or small accessories and they act like you're just annoying them. Meh, like I said, I still go there a lot. You just have to know what you're getting into when you walk in the door. They haven't been terrible with me, but I've seen them be less than friendly to 'noobs'.

I go to Bullseye, and probably still will - but I know what to expect. I think most of their problems hinge on being understaffed for the amount of customers that walk through the door - you won't get attention unless you ask for it. I kinda understand this to a degree, as almost everytime im in there, there are people walking around just window shopping, not bothering anyone, but with no intention of buying anything. I have to remind myself sometimes that customers don't have signs on their head that say "buyer" and "looker". If all you want to do is look, price compare, and think, being asked constantly if you can be helped is also somewhat irritating.

I have no problems with Bullseye, was there yesterday shooting my new wheel gun. The thing is they don't baby you, if you dont understand something then just ask. If you want to look at something then ASK. It is true however that the best time to go is on the weekdays, eithier in morning or evenings. If it's your first time and you decide to go, please avoid Saturday around noon through 6ish(Extremely busy). All the employees are great to me and the majority of them are ODT members. With that said however, i can say I am a regular.

Im newbe so I'll give my opion on my three vists. I pass right by everyday after work and 5:45. The first time I stopped in they had several other customers in there and I waited at the counter for 30min. Week later stopped back in (thought maybe just a bad day) ask for assistance and was politly told in just a min. 20min later nothing so I left. 3rd time went the same. The prices are good and I wouldnt say anyone one was rude, but didnt feel as if they wanted my buisness. I did notice that 2 times guys walked in and they stopped what they were doing to attend to them.
On a positive note I did witness one employee that was renting a gun to a group, make sure the customer knew how to use the weapon. more or less drilled him on the functions of it.
Maybe its the way Im dressed( dress shirt and slacks) for the lack of customer support. maybe a more tactical look next time?

Everyone there sucks except for Ben and his wife. The marine is a douche, I watched him belittle a lady who was retired navy about how much better the Marines are. It got so bad the other employees had to tell him to chill.

That's awful. Everyone knows about the Marine vs. Navy smack talk happens, but did that guy forget he's a salesman, and that kinda thing has a time and place?

Thank you for your service to our country but your services are no longer required here.

Attitude to a customer.....and your ass is gone. How do you intend to sell anything if you belittle the clientele?

Exactly. I've never understood how a small business keeps going with staff like that. You see it too much in the firearms world lately. Blatant lying to customers, too.
