Thanks to the wife though…we will make it. She is independent wealthy !!
Without my wife I'd died before I could've retired. She's still gainfully employed and I keep building our portfolio. We've always been a good team

She works her azz off though, since I can’t. She is awesome….i could not ask for better !! She works like crazy then takes care of me the best she can since there is a bunch I can’t do.

That works well. I was semi retired for some years before I went all in. They thought they were hurting me. That's what they were doing to themselves. Destroying from within. After the first 90 days, I found out I didn't need to be working for someone else anymore. They did me a favor!!
It truly is a blessing. We're both lucky. It's taken a little more than 5yrs, but I'm back to pulling my weight again. It has taken a lot of long hours. It was hours I was already working. But this time for myself, by myself. No clock to punch and no one to answer too. She has never said a word
Like I told my sister, it can be done. She was 50 or so at the time. Had nothing. She gave me her numbers. I spent hours working out a schedule for her. Put it all on paper. She could save $1k a month. Yea, she spends a lot of money not needed. Anyways, my schedule made her a millionaire in @ 11yrs. I think it was. All she had to do is the work. She never inquired again. Just no discipline, plain and simple. You have to sacrifice. There is no other way. It's hard in the beginning, but it gets easier as time goes. She never got that upbringing. Save a penny at the time. That's what I had to do. It will add up eventually. These days there are so many options we didn't have even 15yrs ago. You just have to get started
Yes it is. Nearly dead now though...... 🤣There is a little truth in that......... When I retired I was working 0400- @2100 every day. About the same when I was working. I have backed off some along the way.
Anything worthwhile is never easy. If it was, everybody would be doing it
