Any Airsofters on here? Replica rifles that shoot 6mm plastic bb's at 400 feet per sec. and up to 30 bb's per sec on an upgraded rifle. If you think this is just for kids, think again. But be warned, Its a whole new addiction.

I am a member of an Airsoft club in Newnan GA.
We are a group of Mature players ages ranging from 10 to 50 years old. We get together 2 to 3 times a month to play out war game scenarios such as but not limited to: Rescue downed pilot, Capture the flag, Objective extraction, and straight up Death match. We play on a 13 acres of woodland terrain with many makeshift bunkers and structures. Some, like myself dress in full GI Joe loadout. Some prefer to keep it cheap and simple in their hunting camo but all leave with a smile, and a few welts. Its a great way to get exorcise, practice tactical drills, and just good old male bonding. If you are not familiar with this sport, or are interested in getting involved, PM me with any questions.
When Im not at the range shooting paper at 20 bux for 50 rds, Im at the Airsoft field shooting people at 10 bux for 4000 rds.

haha after reading the post it sounds fun...at first i was worried by the thread title...started picturing a room with human heads mounted on hunting plaques...someone should write a book about that ...oh wait??

So how do you know if someone is cheating? Getting shot and playing on I mean.

This is an honor sport. One you have been hit the player is to hold his hand up and call himself out. Then the polayer will return to his respawn for reinsertion. If a player is not calling their hits, I will start aiming for skin, or head shot.
Or I will get a few team mates together and lite that player up till he does call it.
Because its a Club type field, we have little to no cheating as we are all friends.

I went into an airsoft battleground place around here and saw all kinds of MILFS taking their kids to birthdays so yes I will be venturing back there soon.

Q is right I'm also part of this club. I know in open public fields you have alot of cheaters but the way we run this field is like a hunting camp. Everyone takes enjoyment of the friendships and fair play. We all know what to do when we are hit and we are mostly grown men that play at Area 13.At first we tried the public access but to many parents treated it like a daycare and would just drop off kids left and right. So we decided that was not the route to take due to heavy amounts of cheating. What we did find though is that there are several grown men who loved the sport and who where honest about calling hits and loved to play with integrity and honor. So we formed Area 13. The kids that Q were speaking about are the sons of men who play there so they are mentored and taught the importance of sportsmanship. I encourage anyone who wants to try it to give me or Q a shout. And ask your kids about it if they play or would like to play. We have several guy's who own loaner guns to give it a whirl. Mine name is Alpine and I hunt people too.

Any one (over 18 or a father son combo)who would like to give this sport a try, I have two loaner guns, face and eye protection.
You will just have to pay the guest fee of 10 bux and buy a bag o bb's. Just let me know.

What a coincidence seeing this post, my 10yo and I were hunting each other yesterday. We've got hides set up all around our yard to make it interesting. My son learned very quickly the value of using cover and concealment vs jumping out and blasting away like he does on video games.

Unfortunately, both our primary guns locked up and with airdogs' store closed I don't know where to take them. Really hacked me off about my sons rifle locking up, got him one of those high dollar RDW's for Christmas. I think the tech guys name was Ryan is he still around or is there anywhere else close that works on these guns.
