I don’t think you will be disappointed with either one of them.

Both books will be delivered Tuesday's. I usually read alternate History books but it seems that the reviews on these 2 books are better than good.

If you are looking for good cheap books try thriftbooks.com I buy lots of books from them. They have hard to find and newer books, you can also put titles on a wish list and when they get a copy they will email you. Shipping is free of you get $15.00 worth which isn't hard if you read much.

A really good book, Jack Hinson’s one-man war, a civil war sniper by: Tom C McKenney. Has anybody else ever read it? Also do you have any recommendations that are similar to it?

Great book. I passed my copy off to another ODT'er after I read it several times.
If you lived closer I'd offer to let you come peruse my library. It you like that you'd like what I have on the shelves.
Along that same vein a very good read is "Co.Aytch" by Civil War Veteran Samuel R. Watkins.
Once again I passed my copy off to another history buff but it may be available on Amazon or if not you could probably get a used copy off of ebay.

I was going to recommend this as well... my next book that I would recommend is "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara. It is historical fiction, but it was required reading at West Point at one time.
