I was thinking about getting into reloading Like i said I know nothing or know anyone personally that does Hope y'all would answer a few questions Can the supplies be had do you know of a good place to go and buy the whole set up and supplies for 9MM and 5.56 ammo

Interested in this as well. But...as with ammo, the supplies, like primers, are gone or ridiculously expensive. Someone mentioned the government placed a large order for primers creating the disparity. Supposedly it will clear up here soon.

All speculation though. Don't ever think prices will be what they were pre-2020

Equipment, brass, bullets, powder all readily available, but you will have to shop around. Primers you will pay a premium, but even at $100/1k, still cheaper to reload than if you bought the ammo.

Not a good time to get into reloading. Not only are the components tight or rediculously expensive, the equipment is also going up.
What calibers are you looking to start with?
Rifle or pistol or both.
Small primers in general are impossible to find at a decent price.
You can still find large rifle and pistol primers but they have also gone way up.
My range has plenty of large primers but they are twice as much as they were 3 months ago.

9MM and 5.56

The 2 most loaded calibers out there right now.
1st recommendation would be to decide what brand press you want. There are several good ones and depending on your volume, some are better than others.
Low volume, less than 1k per year, I would go with a single stage setup. Rcbs, Lyman or even lee
1 to 5 k per year, I would recommend a low end progressive setup. Dillon 550, square deal or something similar.
Above 5k per year, Dillion 750, Redding or RCBS progressive.
Just remember, you will encounter crimped primers on both the 9mm and 223s so you will need a swager.
