I now see why it takes so long to receive a letter USPS

I currently have a package coming from NH, was supposed to deliver today. Check tracking yesterday and the package is in Seattle..... God knows when I'll get it or if I ever will.

You got mail!! Well maybe not........

I've had many USPS shipments delayed, misdelivered, lost or stolen but this isn't another complaint along those lines.

Here it is Memorial Day, a federal holiday and one of the most somber that should be observed by all Americans. Yet today of all days the USPS delivers a package to me. I know they get paid extra to deliver Amazon orders on Sundays but this wasn't an Amazon order and damn sure not Sunday. It's Memorial Day for crying out loud. Where is the respect?

i wonder if this same practice will take place on our other revered holidays. Next one up is Juneteenth. Let's see if the USPS folks will be working then.

I haven't received a letter yet that was mailed to me over a week ago.........from the other side of Athens!!!!
