I restored the most valuable gun in the world and the history of it.

This was almost like work. I have one for a tangfolio 22lr and one for a 38 special of some sort

The first pic was just the barrel after bluing and part of the joke .The frame is getting a epoxy primer and a ceramic top.coat. It's some kind of magnesium alloy so I had to order a high dollar can of two part epoxy primer. The can has a blatter inside that is broken by pressing down on a red cap on top. Then I am putting a ceramic paint for the for the top coat. I will post pics when I'm finished. I just got a set of black grips yesterday. Just waiting on the top coat. The only other way to do the frame is a electrolysis treatment or something to that affect. I stripped all the black off the frame well most of it anyway. Still working on that until the enormously expensive ceramic paint shows up.
I like the ole Saturday night specials just fine as long as they're in working order. Once they're not, it's just a paper weight to me

This one has a trigger on it you wouldn't believe. One of the best triggers I have ever felt on a single action revolver. I almost didn't believe it. I guess it's just worn slap out! 🤣🤣

What is the model number for the gun? Also I assume you only need the actual rod and not the housing and spring. Seems like you could adapt one from another brand of single action 22 if you can't find an original.
Just the rod. Everythning else is present. Just the lever broke off. It's a RG66. The parts breakdown in what ones I can find all have the same part number. If you have calipers I can send you measurements of the length and specifics of the actuator lever ( for the lack of a better term ).

Last one of those I saw had a chunk out of the cylinder it was a 357 mag and a plus P 38 special split the cylinder,
