He told me he would email me. He hadn't emailed me yet... I am not going to email him to remind him lol. If he ever sends pics, I'll post them up this week!

People ship all the time. I don't know if people properly ship it but I properly did. I labeled and I had my ffl ship it since they have more power when it comes to that kind of stuff. Cherokee gun and pawn will ship firearm stuff for their customer for free plus shipping cost. They will even pack it for you!
I will definitely post up when he emails me. I hope he doesn't cause I don't feel like dealing with it since UPS was the responsible carrier that handled the package.

Did you send it from an account you made or cherokees? I ship ammo daily, and filing a claim with UPS is very simple. They normally email you to let you know there was an issue even before its delivered. Just call them with the tracking number if and when he sends you pics. As long as you had ORM-D on the box you're good. No hazmat fees are necessary.
UPS has gotten pretty s****y lately when it comes to mishandling my stuff. I shipped a guy a case of 762 in NM and the first case showed up half empty and water damaged. I sent him his replacements in a much bigger thicker sturdier box, and he said it was still trashed. Luckily none missing though. UPS claims are easy though.

Yeah it was labeled "ORM-D" but I didn't label "small arms cartridge". I had a box that I had received alcohol and it was already labeled "ORM-D". He still hadnt emailed me but in previous emails I had mentioned UPS has damaged claims department and if they refuse, he could contact federal themselves.
maybe he found it cheaper and was trying to back out somehow? Not like you can mix up 5.56 with some other caliber unless his weapon only takes .223
