How's everyone's knowledge on the Smith and Wesson knives? Haven't really heard much on em, don't even know if S&W actually makes them but found a couple fixed blades going for about $25. It's not getting real hard use, if it was, I'd definitely spend more. Won't be trying to cut thru the forest or chop up bodies with it so...

I still have an inexpensive tanto-blade folder from S&W. Pretty sharp after a year and I would buy it again.

How about the Buck 119? You can get them at Wal-Mart for $40 and they are made in the USA.

The Buck 119 as mentioned above is a darn good knife made in the USA and sharp as a razor. Maybe not as big as some knives, but twice the knife.

glock, kabar, and ontario knives are good in that price range.

Gerber Prodigy...but its in the $60 range. Smaller version of the Gerber LMF military knife. Its a great knife for the money!!

The Glock knife is also an excellent choice.
