But, that's where the 300 prc comes into play.

Maybe one day I'll pony up and get a Barrett or something better. Thinking realistically now based on finances and the possible uses I'd have for any firearm. I don't hunt out west and I'm not really a long range shooter per say not saying I can't I just don't do it.

Yeah buds has some good prices on actual NIB firearms. I buy pretty much everything through them now.

300 PRC will probably do ever thing you'd ever want, and if you speak suppressor, you can use what you have without having to move way up for the 338.

I love my HMR in 308. Even more so since I installed a Triggertech Diamond trigger in it.
