I was wondering if this would be good investment like the snake guns we’re back in the day.

There is a place the has the Zastava M57 which was made for limited time, before changes where made in the late 50’s. I bought a star 1911 for each of my kids years ago as I da that gun listed on a forum of guns that will gain value much better than the average rate of increase. Thanks for your help as I don’t know much about the 7.62x25 handguns.

I suppose cheap old communist guns from the Cold War can show big increases in value, when you buy then as they flood the American market as some former Com-Bloc nation empties its armories
but, after those supplies dry up, the gun's value jumps.

Think of those $69 SKS rifles, or the $109 SKS Paratrooper Carbines /w AK magwells.
Think of those Turkish Mauser rifles from the 1930's that sold for $39 around the year 2000, with cases of equally-old corrosive ammo for $0.05 per round.
Think of the $59 Mosin 91/30 rifles.

The thing is, if you go to sell a 1950's commie pistol in an oddball cartridge later, you HAVE TO allow time to market it to the right audience. Regular people who "just want a gun for protection" or "add another gun to their small colleciton of S&W and Ruger and Mossberg guns" won't be interested an an ugly old milsurp that was designed back in the early 1930s.
