I wonder if these newer people...

I ask for a pm if offer or "I'll take it" posted in thread, then view profile and feedback bsfore I respond with a reply, then opt to accept or not. Seems to alleviate conflict if buyer is serious or just window shopping, or compulsively responding, and may crawfish on his offer. Seems to work for me.

If someone tells me "I'll take it" and they set up a meet and backout, or try to renegotiate after it's marked SPM or TPM, they will get a s#*^ load of negative from me!
I've had it happen 3 times since January, guess who they were?

Unless I overlooked something, I don't see where you left any negative feedback.

Can't leave negative feedback if no time or date is set to complete the sale or trade an offer is just an offer

Would a neutral feedback be appropriate?

Or you say " Ill take it" then the buyer hits you in a PM with you have to come pick it up tonight or before 11 am but that's just impossible for you so they post that buyer could not commit to terms and says its still available yet none of that I formation was posted in the ad so you post in their ad that you wanted it but never mentioned those terms in the ad....then they accuse you of lying and all his buddies on his friends list come to his aid and start posting that he's the best trader on the planet...LMAO.
It goes both ways and yes we are all humans and nothing we do can totally match the perfect wishful sequence of events of the other guy.
I other words....it happens but some of these guys are like dealing with school children and they drag their buddies along for backup.

I've been stiffed on possible trades and meets and I totally understand if someone finds something closer or more convenient to them even after they say they wanted to meet with me over the weekend.
Just some decent communication is all that is required but it does not warrant negative feedback in my opinion.

It ain't just the new guys. I had a guy on her just this week sent ne a pm that said pretty that if I would drop my price and meet him Saturday morning that he would take it. I agreed to the deal , didn't here anything else out of him till I pm,d him again asking where we were meeting. That's when he told me that he had went to the gun range and shot several pistols so as to compare them to the one I had for sale. So he bought one from that gun store. Wasn't a newbie. Had all positive ratings and a bunch of them. And I did leave him negative feedback. If y'all want his member name pm me and I will give it to u. Guy is from social circle.

Well just checked to see if this certain member still had my negative rating. It's not there. Guess the great moderators on here took it off.
What's the purpose of giving negative feedback if the MODS are just going to remove it. Stupid

Sure is a lot of negativity in this thread. I guess I've been lucky!!! I've never had one problem after a deal was set. I have had a few tire kickers that waste my time and I get the feeling a few people don't have money to buy and are just asking questions to fill time, but damn. If something doesn't feel right to me, I'll usually figure it out before my time is wasted. I will say this- some of y'all aren't the best communicators!!!!

I had an established member bail on a deal after getting an agreed upon price, date ,time and general area to meet just for him to tell me it was sold already the morning it was supposed to happen. The mod said i did not have an exact meeting place so it was not a deal and just to not deal with him anymore as if I need someone to tell me to not get screwed around by the same guy twice. Then the guy reposted some of the items he was supposed to be selling me yeaterday so either way he lied and misled me which is negative and a broken deal where i come from.

Yeah it is also older members, had one guy tell me I could have his draco and he would let me know the next day when to meet it. After that day no call so I went and looked and it said item gone. Go figure

Sorry to re-post this scenario but I had a deal set up with a guy. We established price, place, time, and items. The guy contacted me before the deal and said that he couldn't find the items. Even though he had them listed with pics a few days before.

What would you do? Should I leave negative feedback?
