This age thing is ridiculous. You can get married at 15 but can't buy a drink to celebrate (or drown your sorrows) until 6 years later? You can join the military at 18 and drive a tank, but can't buy a pistol for three more years.
We need to just pick an age and stick to it across the board. You are a minor until age xx (18,21,25... pick it) and have no legal rights or privileges under the law. No driving, no booze, no contracts, no guns, no voting, no military, no marriage. Anything that requires an age is all using the same one.
