Identify this shed

So we came home to find this in a no snake zone; No F****** Bueno!!!!

Obviously whatever it was isn't there, but just out of curiosity, what species does this appear to be?

Hard to tell from that. My guess is that it is something along the lines of what biker said. Probably black rat snake.

Black snake, not harmful to you or yours, let it be, it will keep the vermin out AND will do away with any wandering copperhead or rattler that may try to move in.

It seems it was/is???? also a house snake; as in inside, in a closet.
I'm going to check for holes or crevices.
