would have to be a rat snake for how big it is we dont have that many that get to that size around here

I got two of them , been hanging out in my backyard around retaining wall and pool for years..one shed a skin 7.5 feet long year before last.

The skin is inside out. Soften it with glycerin and turn it back out. The snake was probably in the closet over the winter feeding on snowshoe mice.

It seems it was/is???? also a house snake; as in inside, in a closet.
I'm going to check for holes or crevices.

I'm sorry my next two phone calls would be to 911 and the insurance company. That house would be on fire. I don't know how it started but it just did.
