There's just something about that damn South Atlanta distribution center that's as dysfunctional as it gets. It's like a black hole for mail. That's the last place anyone saw the USPS money order I mailed about two years ago. Then they wouldn't honor my receipt after I waited the mandatory time limit. Then they said they could open an inquiry for $18.00 literally half the money order amount. But they wanted ME to give them $18.00 more to do it. "Ha! **** you!" I ain't throwing good money after bad.

Now the tracking history claims my package was here in Perry on the 10th but then went back to Atlanta AGAIN and has since been in not one but two different facilities in Atlanta. I think they're just making this **** up as they go.

My wife subscribes to the USPS email service that tells you what you're going to get in the mail the next day. So far it's right about 10% of the time.

It makes my day MUCH more entertaining. This entire thread did not disappoint.

A item I ordered from Slovakia has been stuck in NY customs for about a month now. Don't know if USPS has anything to do with that.

It does. My Cubans get hung up in NYC customs for at least a few days. It’s about like the Palmetto matrix.
