If you chase someone down, it's hard to claim self defense...

Possible manslaughter for provoking the situation that led to his death, and that's a stretch.

That is a HUGE stretch because we don't know what was said. He could have said "good evening" or

We don't know the facts. Why are all of these two digit IQs convicting a man without all the evidence?

Don't be surprised when Zimmerman is found not guilty or not charged at all.Probably will be indicted by Grand Jury, what charge I don't know but I think he walks.Goes into WPP.

Along with disparity of force if it is determined that the other guy was unarmed.

However if I were Zimmerman att'y, which I wouldn't want to be, I would say that the deceased went for Z's gun, which he probably did, which is considered a lethal threat.
IMO, the biggest mistake Z made w/ the limited info. that I've heard, is not de-escalating the situation & provoking the encounter.
I wasn't there so maybe it didn't go down that way but my entire adult life I've spent studying the writings of authors like Mas Ayoob, Marty Hayes , & others on these topics & their professional advice is very consistent on these matters.

It's going to be a very interesting case if it goes to court.

It seems he had enough training to come out the victor.

Against an unarmed opponent that he outweighs by double... wow.

Don't get me wrong.
I don't think the other guy was the saint he's being portrayed as but Z. did some really foolish things according to the accounts told if they are accurate.

He won against an unarmed opponent with the upper hand, physical advantage and 10 years his junior during a hand to hand conflict.

I assure you if I had the same advantages this little angel had, Zimmerman would never have gotten a shot off.

I am tired of hearing what Zimmerman did wrong. The two most important things in a gunfight: always cheat and always win.

"rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6".
I hate that phrase. While I agree that survival should be the top priority because if you don't nothing else matters.
I agree w/ Mas Ayoob that after you survive the fight, you then have to survive the aftermath.

I'd rather NOT be tried by 12 or carried by 6 myself.
