Unfortunately there's no hack that I know of that would allow you to place a user on the same basis as vBulletin has "Tachy goes to Coventry" (Or now with vB 4.x it's global ignore). It ends up being a database query to cause that to happen. (varname=globalignore) I had tinkered with this years ago with greasemonkey and firefox. It was a small plug in that caused users that were on your ignore list to be stripped out of the displayed HTML.

I'm sure the script is still out there if you're a firefox user. Just download greasemonkey for it first, then search on vBulletin ignore greasemonkey. That should bring up something. *Note it's been a number of years since I tinkered with this.
