I really hope nobody takes this the wrong way. I just want to show what happens when shelters are left with no other choice. Before Christmas I posted a link to www.shelterrescueinc.org because they were helping Coweta County try to save more pets from being euthanized. They were getting the word out that anyone could adopt a pet from Coweta for $25, that included all shots, spayed and neutered, and a tracking device implanted in the pet! I received one pm from a member asking about it, but not one person replied to the post!
I know many of you couldn't save one of these pets and I understand that, my problem is how many posts I've read where someone was asking for a free pet since the post. I visit the website quiet often to see if I can help in any way, and that is when I read how many of these beautiful animals have been euthanized since my post in early December. It broke my heart to see them and so I just wanted to post the link for any of you that care to go see those beautiful pets that are no longer with us. Please don't anyone take this the wrong way because that's not my intentions. I just wanted to promote awareness for the members that may not think of these shelters when looking for a wonderful new pet.Thank You and God Bless You All!

Rescues sure make great dogs! All three of mine are rescues, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Man, this just broke my heart. I got my dog from a Kill Shelter one day before his was Killed. I love my dog, He has been abused in the past, and attacks every dog and animal he see's and I don't care he's my Boy. I, hope everyone who needs a dog or cat goes to a shelter. This post was HARD for me but it will help animal's in the Future. Thanks for putting it up.

I've never believed in buying pets. There are too many out there that need homes and purchasing one only serves the purpose of paying and encouraging those slimy bastards who breed and mistreat innocent animals. Personally I have taken dogs from shelters and my wife takes in all the cats around.

My last 3 dogs including the 2 knuckles heads I have now are shelter rescues.

I'd be willing to pony up the $ for an ODT'r that will adopt a rescue from a shelter. If your looking for a pet and need help with the adoption fees shoot me a PM and we'll make it happen.
