Located in the alpharetta/metro atlanta area. Do not want to travel very far. I need some sights installed on my AR and my Glock 19. Any recommendations on a quick and affordable gunsmith in the area.

What sights are you wanting to install on your AR?! I can definitely help you out on the G19 sight installation.
The gunsmith at Sharpshooters in Roswell is pretty good and his prices are pretty reasonable.
I have trijicon hd sights that i want to put on the glock. I want to put a red dot on my ar and get it zeroed in.

Like a red dot with a picatinny mount?
If so, can be done by himself.

It would be a good learning experience for you to install the red dot and sight it in yourself.
