As others have said, spare parts. I would probably add a quality 22 pistol or revolver. Loaded with sub sonic ammo even without a suppressor they are fairly quiet. There may be a time you want to pop something without a lot of commotion.
Yeah, I get that. I also have a suppressed 9mm rifle. It's a very specific tool.It is suppressed. And SBRed. Think I'd let the old lady go before she would go.....
But I understand the 308/long range point. I practice long range shooting with both the rifles.(yes my mpx is a rifle! What!) lol.....hmmm bolt huh?

Funny you said that. I'm looking for someone to make me some sets of pouches for AK mags.
If I believed in guns and owned guns I would have at least 2 of each go to guns. 2 AR's or AK's, and 2 pistols exactly alike. Plenty of mags and ammo to go with them, pouches for those mags, and the slings and holsters also.
I would add a bolt gun too, a good sling, and a couple hundred rounds, minimum.
I can hit 600 yards pretty consistent at rest but you're correct, it's difficult past 600. Good points!Yeah, I get that. I also have a suppressed 9mm rifle. It's a very specific tool.
I think your definition of long range and mine are different. No way you can reliably take on a target at 800 yards with an AK, much less a 9mm SBR. With the right set up in a 308 bolt gun, that's a very real expectation and not that hard to do. With the right ammo and skills, folks push a 308 Win well past a 1000 yards.
Sounds like you have good reason to get a fourth gun.
You're welcome.![]()
Right on the chesticle! What kind? Molle attachments, or straight to the belt?
Right on the chesticle!
I'm really in the market toward a little higher end. Some will will last through a beating in all environments...have to be sturdy and tightLots of quality makers out there. If you are on a tight budget, order some Condor pouches. They are well made and will last. I have used them a lot. I also use surplus USGI mag pouches, and order them online for less than $5 each. They work fine, and have molle. Those are for AR mags, though...Look around. The options are endless.
