Seeing what Howie did to his pre B, I was inspired to clean mine up too.

It's duracoat as I couldn't justify what smiths were asking for cerakote. Not for a $300 gun.
 
Looks good! If you want that red color filled in for the safety just take some testors paint or nail polish and dip a toothpick into it to get a tiny drop on the tip then touch it to the indentation. It will fill itself up.

I agree on the Cerakote pricing. I wanted to get my Makarov done in Burnt Bronze but it would cost as much as I paid for it. I like this finish you got here. But I think wood grips would look better.
