Interactive Map of Georgia Deer Processors

if the Processors are full
and your Hunting the Pine Log WMA hunt 15 - 18 December

I'm 8 miles North of Pine Log, and I know that area very well

if the Processors are full and you have no way to hang and butcher your Deer
bring it to me, I have a crank skinning pole and a metal rack for the meat
no meat leaves my house with hair on it
I can gut, skin, quarter and divide up the quarters for you and dispose of the waste (no charge of course)
just give me a heads up ahead of time by PM and we can exchange tel #'s
Great Brother right here!!!

Since I'm new to GA, I tried to find a processor on the DNR site (and Google), but wasn't super happy with the results, so I copied the data from the DNR site and built a map with it. Hopefully it's helpful if you're hunting in an area you're not super familiar with. No guarantees on the accuracy, since I didn't hand-check all 422 of them, but it should get you close and then you can call around.

Happy hunting and I hope you get a monster buck!

this was great. found a new processor for 2022-23 season. much appreciated

Surprise, D&R are not taking in deer unless you are a "member" and the membership is full. J&H has been out of business for several years now. Any tips for the Whitesburg area?

A friend of mine opened up a deer processing place at 349 Rock Acres Rd in Dahlonega .
He worked for another outfit for many years and was their top guy.
I was sad to see that he left and the place was never the same again but I’m excited to know he’s got his own place now.
I haven’t been there yet but I’m sure it’s top notch as he ran a tight ship
And I always got MY Deer.
(Rock Acres Deer Processing.)

I’ll check it out as soon as I get
My first deer for the season.
I haven’t had a lot of hunt time this year but it will happen.

I've been out of the game for awhile due to a battle with cancer but plan to make my return this season. Your friend still in operation for this season? I hunt near there and it will be nice to have a processor with integrity in the area. Curiously, was he at Southers?
