Interesting morning

Lots of ducks get eat by coyotes when ponds freeze in winter. She is hurt or you would not have just picked her up. Don’t mess with the males. She looks like a two year ago, more white feathers as they age. The cold does not bother them.

If she didn't appear to be hurt or dying and wasn't dead yet, she should recover if no other animals get to her? I put her in the safest spot I knew of.
