Interesting new from Kel-Tec

First response just confirmed my point. Gracias

I have zero interest in the pistol. Just predicting what I think will be reality.

Kel Tec makes some very good products. It's often their willingness to buck tradition that makes them good. They broke the mold on pocket 380s. Small, light, carry 9s, when there were few to choose from. For years, the sub-2000s and SU-16s were the only game in town for folding carbines that ordinary people could afford. Twin tube shotguns. Bullpup carbines. Hi cap 22 pistols that actually cycle reliably.

Not sure what might bug you about those things, but I don't mind their innovation a bit. It's often the precursor to getting the stick out of other gun manufacturers' collective asses, who then bring us more good stuff, usually better looking, but always more $.

With a $399 MSRP, if the thing is reliable and accurate, they won't be able to make them fast enough.
I heard a while back that they only have space or capacity to build a few models at one time. So they have to stop production on say the Sub2K then retool for whatever is up next or in demand. That would explain the shortage of their newer models. When I first joined here the PMR 30 was in demand and commanding premium prices for a pistol with more than it's share of Q/C issues.
This pistol LOOKS cool cause it's different. Like the P17 I scored last year. I like the looks of it. Some of the YouTube gun guys said the Taurus TX22 was a better pistol. But I just preferred the look and capacity of the P17. Still ain't shot it so I can't speak to the quality.
The internal mag stripper clip deal reminds me of the Grendel P10 from WAY back when. But that was George Kelgren designed too. I guess we'll see how it shakes out. Personally I would rather have it in a less expensive caliber like maybe 22WMR.

Feels cheap, looks cheap, runs really well. Wife uses it around the property as her "just in case / varmint" gun. Have fed it 500+ rounds of about a half dozen flavors of bulk 22LR, and it just doesn't care. Bullet weight, velocity, brand. They all cycle it, and it shoots them well.

Hoping for a sneak peek of this abomination. no dice.
