Interesting Walmart experience today.....

I don't like going to Walmart but it's close by and if I go early (about 6:10 - 6:30 a.m.) the concentration of indigenous personnel is light and those who are stirring from their cribs at this hour are usually decent working types. Anyway, one of the items I scanned prompted that "Approval Required" dialog box to pop up on the scanner. I looked around for the bored, tired, CS drone leaning on the closed register and gave her that "WTF?" look. She waddles over and types in her AUTHORATIE code and I aksed her why a can of boiled peanuts required approval. She said, "You's scannin' too fass, das why it stopped you."

I KNEW IT~! Those mother ****ers WANT you to have a slow miserable experience checking yourself out! Damn it! I told her, "I should get a raise then, an untrained person like myself scanning an order faster than your trained cashiers!" She just grunted and waddled off back to her perch.
Just adopt the same slow "I don't care" work pace as the "other" employees and things will go much better!

That really is sad ….funny but sad.
These type that work at Wally World are pissed mot of the time because “Dey gots to work” but don’t realize that in many places it’s very hard to find a job and it really isn’t getting better.
They mad because they can’t lay around the crib and collect from the gov …. Most of the time they have done that so long that they have been cut off so they have to get a job and this is the best they can do.
If they ever were in real crap where nobody takes care of them, doesn’t give them anything, and nobody cares…then they would realize what kind of a blessing a job (any job) really is !
Your WM sure is different from mine here in Jasper a mile away. I'm there every couple of days shopping for groceries (meat on markdown, etc.). All of the ladies who work there are outstanding and helpful. The only real complaint I have is the store spent beaucoup dollars on rearranging/replacing stock shelves but didn't spend a dime on their broke-ass short carts. Nearly every one of them have wheels that don't turn and it's like pushing a government employee. Why do I want the small cart? I don't want to use the big ones because of the integrated child seats where one would be tempted to put food items and the thought of a messy-diapered kid having sat there is a real turnoff.

But did the door police tackle you cause you didn’t volunteer to show your receipt?
