I apparently have the "I paid for it, it's mine, I ain't stopping for anyone" stare of death, because I've never been stopped.

I think the greeters at the Perry store spread the word about me cause they stopped asking me a while back.
However...when we first moved back here I used to get Keystone 15 packs there. One day a girl asked to see my receipt. I told her no and she said she had to see it for alcohol. So I said to her " If I was stealing beer do you really think I'd be stealing THIS cheap ****?!"

I really try to avoid self check outs. I am cursed. If I have four of one item, I will invariably scan 5. One does not scan right away, so I stand on my head with left arm under right leg so the barcode is easily accessible and I will double beep. I call the CS over and explain my dumbness. She politely smiles enters her code, corrects my mistake and waddles off. I get down to the fruits and veggies and have no idea how to scan them as they have no barcode. Here she comes again. Her smile has disappeared. She shows me how to do the apples, watches me with the corn on the cob, nods and runs off. I finish up and dog gone it - this machine only takes plastic. Debit or Credit. Miss...Um... Miss...I...Um...

I’m telling ya ! I hate going. My wife has to go if she wants anything, I refuse to. If I go I am usually in a bad mood for a few days after.
it just seems to be the level of idiocy with the general public….not to include the employees that look like they are in hell or being punished ! It’s like, if they hate it so much, get a real job !! Lol.

Just go in for a day trip. Not to buy anything, just to look at the customers. There’s always something to cheer your day, Like, one day just see how many lardass 400 + pounders are bogarting the scooters so the actual handicapped can’t use one. Make a game of finding a patron with a full set of teeth (this may take several trips). Try to figure how many different nationality/ethnicities you can spot.
