I am interested in competing in IDPA. Does anyone know how to go about getting involved in North Georgia and where?

I just started looking at the website for the Atlanta chapter and can't wait to go try it. http://www.gadpa.com Don't know if there is a club north of Atlanta but Google or the main IDPA website would tell you.
Cherokee Gun Club in Gainesville holds matches the first Sunday of the month.
Pickens County Sportsmen's Club holds matches the third Sunday of the month.
There's also a match in Cleveland Tennessee on the third Saturday of the month.
Dodd And Associates holds a match in Sale Creek, TN (near Chattanooga) on the 4th Saturday.

West Ga Tactical Shooters shoot IDPA on the fourth Saturday of each month in Harralson county. They have a website with good info on it. I have been shooting IDPA for about 6 months now...And I love it. It is a very good way to hone your skillset...
