I've noticed in the ammo for sale section, that .22 ammo priced at .08-.10 a round doesn't seem to be selling. Also, I recently saw an ad for .045 cents per round. Last week an ODT posted that a south-side Walmart had .22 ammo in stock. I haven't really understood the whole panic chaos in the first place. Did ammo manufactures slow down production to drive up prices? or has there just been predatory opportunists taking advantage of the mass hysteria? (along with a few gunpowder low lifes)
I was fortunate that right before Newtown, Dawsonville gun and pawn had cases and cases of .22 ammo for $199.00 per case so I haven't had to get reamed yet. Anyway I hope things settle down and ammo and reloading supplies get back to pre-panic availabilities/prices before long.

I haven't had any problems finding it for probably 2-3 months.
No ammo companies didn't slow production to drive up prices. That would take the will to do it, and a coordinated effort on the part of every manufacturer that sells ammo in the US.

I havent walked into a Walmart in months and seen any so yea it still sucks. Glad I got plenty put up so it aint hurting my feelings.

Ive been the same but I scored cci last two times I went in. 100 rd boxes about 7 bucks. Dicks had a ton if you can stand to shop there. Scored 1k cci quiets from midway the other day so I'd say it's getting better

I picked up two 100rd boxes of CCI SV at Wal Mart last week and today I saw a bunch in Dicks (yeah, I was in there, what of it?). They had Remington (Eley made), American Eagle and CCI Mini Mag and CCI Quiet.
