I've noticed in the ammo for sale section, that .22 ammo priced at .08-.10 a round doesn't seem to be selling. Also, I recently saw an ad for .045 cents per round. Last week an ODT posted that a south-side Walmart had .22 ammo in stock. I haven't really understood the whole panic chaos in the first place. Did ammo manufactures slow down production to drive up prices? or has there just been predatory opportunists taking advantage of the mass hysteria? (along with a few gunpowder low lifes)
I was fortunate that right before Newtown, Dawsonville gun and pawn had cases and cases of .22 ammo for $199.00 per case so I haven't had to get reamed yet. Anyway I hope things settle down and ammo and reloading supplies get back to pre-panic availabilities/prices before long.
