Within the past two months, I have bought two rifles, from ODT members, and bought or traded for three handguns, two came from members of ODT. Doesn't seem like a dead traffic area to me. Of course I have not sold anything recently, but I rarely sell anyway.

It is the time of year. People always buy buy buy in spring and early summer then get rid of stuff in late summer and fall. I sometimes barter work and always get the most stuff this time of year. Kids are back in school, people already dumped their savings on end-of-summer vacations, and they are saving back up for Christmas and holiday traveling. The lull between summer and holiday shopping is always slowest time of year for retail, and consequently, private sales. Hold on to your stuff until after tax returns, then mark it up. I have seen some really great deals here and on facebook gun trader pages lately. I saw a glock 22 (I think) listed for $380 bucks on facebook and many others for $400-450.

My kids have kids. Wife and I are both retired. EVERY day is a vacation!!

I just bought 3 in the last month. I think there are a lot of people who don't understand depreciation.

I've sold 3 this month with another leaving weekend. I've also bought several items made a trade. Times are tough all over. People with children and school starting back is big expense for August. Good luck to everyone and have blessed day!

I have bought or traded for 3 handguns and 3 rifles in the last six weeks on here. Going to pick up one tomorrow. Sold a pistol and a rifle in last two weeks but not on here. Broke even on both of those.
I am always amazed at some of the prices for franken guns that are pieced together.
