to find an intruder or two with 20 knives, 5 guns,
2 shotguns, and 2 pellet rifles pointed at you.

I’ve always either got a pistol on my side or a weapon within arms lengths in any place in my house. Sleeping on the couch? Covered. Taking a ****? Covered.
You poop naked? Intruder runs from large man covered in feces while coming at him.
all jokes aside, My reason being for always being “ready” is when I was a kid our house got broke in to a few times... we lived way away from anything. Hope he sees this but after the first time we were broke into, my dad slept on the couch waiting for them to come back and the ice maker went off and he put 3 rounds of 44 mag into the side of that thing.

Jan,03 2005 home invasion. Hit in my face and through my left shoulder. Took a lot to rebuild my shoulder. It blew my shoulder blade into a million pieces.
