been a life member since the late 80s. I think the organization has some good programs(safety,education,scholarships) but as others have said, the guy at the helm has been ruining it for years. Glad he's out.

Because they have not felt the pain of their own treachery enough. When they are almost bankrupt and "ALL" of the old gaurd is gone, maybe then I might toss them some pocket change.

I thought they might have turn around after firing Wayne “La POS” and getting new members on the board but they decided to back a democrat instead of a republican in the AK house race. They just keep beating their dick with a hammer and then complain about the pain.
People still say they are a card carrying life time member of the NRA like it is something to be proud of still.

I’m still proud of it. And the people I know that are NRA lifers are some of the best folks around. I’ll hang out with that crowd any time. Being a life member damn sure doesn’t mean condoning LaPierre or what the NRA became over the years.
Let's see what the new regime does in a hurry to bring back members.
