If it came right down to brass-tax, I would rather pay $2 to post an ad here than $1 or even free over there.... Just sayin!

I posted an ad there with no problems at all. As a long time member I get the 2 free posts so lets see what happens. The only offers I've ever gotten here were from folks 4 hours away. I politely asked both of them if they were coming to SE GA and the response I got was: thought maybe you were coming to Atlanta.
I always look at the location before I make an offer and if I'm not willing to travel - I don't make the offer...

NGIB, distance is a handi-cap but I look at it as saving me money , makes me think twice about the purchase/swap. I do miss a lot though, guns are alot cheaper North of the nat line than down here.
This happens.....I am the same as you, not matter how much I would like to have the gun I always look at the location. I have however drove three hours one way for one that I REALLY wanted.

Same here. Usually driving a long distance costs more than it's worth, but I have on occasion seen a particular firearm that I had to have at all costs! lol!
Did anyone notice that they left the sell option open for two sections, Hobbies and the primitive skills section. Both sections have the same mod.......he was born 200 years too late. Sounds like a case of playing favorites doesn't it? The mods ruined that site.
