Is there a doctor in the house?

No other strange bleeding? (i.e. nosebleeds, etc) Feel healthy otherwise?

No other problems I'm aware of, no bleeding elsewhere.

I came across this for you:

It is used to toughen the skin.

Will look into that, thanks.

Gloves?
Long sleeves?

Despise wearing both but have to at work alot of the time.

Increase your Vitamin K intake.

That can be done easy enough.

Appreciate all the input, alot better than the Vagacil recriminations offered earlier. LOL.

I have the same problem, although I'm in my 60's and it didn't start until maybe 6-8 years ago, about the same time the doc put me on meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and acid reflux.

Plus I take a low-dose aspirin daily.

I asked the doctor about the easy bruising & skin tears (like you, it just takes a slight bump) and I was told it is chiefly a function of age, and a tendency for capillaries to be closer to the surface.

I suggest you discuss your issues with your primary care physician and see what he/she has to say, before you start taking vitamins or advice from talk forum participants.

how often do you eat leafy green vegetables? these are nature's best source of readily digestible vitamin K. Kale is the best, then mustards, collards, swiss chard, arugala, and spinach. in that order. raw is better than cooked. if you've never had raw mustard greens, have a glass of water on hand. it hits like horseradish when its fresh and ripe.
