Almost ready to build my first AR and looking at some tool kits. Any one had any dealings with this kit or company. Just dont wont to end up with some Big lots 52pcs tool set. Im looking at building at least 3 rifles so need something decent.

Not a kit fan, but it looks to have the basics to build minus a bench vice.

If your only building 3 rifles, may do you just fine for the $$$. That torque wrench looks less than desireable though. I prefer the click style for AR's, but the beam ones are ok I suppose.

There's a lot of stuff there that you don't need. But my recommendation for a starter kit would be:

A good upper vice block, clamshell, PRI type or Geissele reaction rod
Roll pin punches
Roll pin starter punches
Smith Enterprises armorers wrench
A good torque wrench
A gunsmith hammer with brass and delrin inserts
Brownells bolt catch pin punch

If you don't plan on building multiple guns over time, just find someone with good tools and appropriate experience to help.
