I'm not in the mountains but my lawnmowers, edger, weedeater, chainsaw, and all other small engines get non-ethanol fuel. Even my truck gets it too. If you are looking for a place to get it, www.pure-gas.org is a good website to help locate it. My commuter car is the only thing I put E10 in. Purely for convenience. I burn it out quick enough not to cause as much of a problem, though I too get better fuel mileage with non-ethanol.
