Islamic soldier arrested with explosives at Ft Hood

According to an army source, one AWOL soldier is in the custody of the Killeen, Texas, police department, near Ft. Hood. He was not captured on the base.

According to another source, two other US soldiers were arrested earlier Thursday and found to be in possession of weapons and explosives.

I was in Baghdad once, on a patrol downtown, when a car-bomb exploded outside a mosque killing 19 civilians and wounding over 40 other civilians. While we were trying to provide first aid to the survivors we were approached by several angry Iraqis wanting to know why we bombed their mosque. We told them we didn't bomb their mosque, that the car (that was parked in front of the mosque and was now all over the mosque) was exploded by another Iraqi. I asked why he thought we could or would have done this and he told me, "We know it was the Americans because a muslim would never kill another muslim."

Blinded by faith aptly describes a majority of the muslims I've met. Sadly, I have met a lot of really good muslims, who are genuinely good people who just want to take care of their families and live life and it's a$$holes like this that make life hard on the few decent muslims.

Oh, and I hope this coward spends the rest of his life behind bars! He knew damn well when he enlisted what he was going to have to do. This war's been going on for 10 years. Nobody comes into the Army and thinks they're not going to get deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan!
