Issues with posting pics

I’m having issues with posting pics the past couple of days. Some are uploading sideways and upside down but some aren’t. WTH gives mang?!

Here’s an example, my son in one and his kutt (vest) in the other. The kutt (vest) is NOT sideways in my photos were I got it from right next to the pic of my son. Why is this happening?

It's because of the way you are holding the phone when you take the picture. Has nothing to do with the website. The first pic you took in portrait mode (phone straight up and down), the second you took in landscape mode (phone left to right). The phone imprints that data into the image so when it is displayed elsewhere, it is displayed in what the data tells it is the "correct" orientation.

My son sent those to me but I’ve taken pics in both ways and uploaded them here for 15 years with no issues and it just started yesterday with pics I took myself. The weird part is all the pics have been taken in the landscape mode but some will load right but others won’t so something else is going on and I think it’s the site because I saw it happen to another member in another thread too. I posted the issue in the help forum before you replied, maybe they can figure it out but thanks for explaining it where an old red neck who’s not tech savvy can understand. lol

CMShoot sez bugs are being worked out...

I sure as hell don't know how to fix anything on my end...

Well, I reckon that I aught to just keep my opinions to myself. Looks like it was related to the site and it seems to have been fixed.
