I took my 1st deer with an AR in 300BLK this morning. I was using a reload made from 223 brass with a 125 Sierra Pro-Hunter. A neck shot at 50yds jellified his spine and exited the other side. I am talking about planting him. He never wiggled. Wish the poor deer had been bigger. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time , because I was really wanting to do a ballistic check on my reload.

My first deer with a 300 BLK a couple weeks ago was almost 300 yards, bad news I didn't know I hit one on the otherwise of the one I recovered. Two deer, one shot 110 gr hornady vmax, 19.8 gr H110.

Pics or it didn't happen...300BLK is only good for shooting in a suppressed SBR and even then accuracy is only good to maybe 100yds!
