Looks like them days are over.. no more fighting.. at least for nowDamn, I was waiting on a good ol back yard fight story again. Such disappoint…
Jkjk
Gettin old ain’t for the weak, that’s for damn sure.
I had a “Block”when I did a total shoulder replacement the block made for a pain free surgery and lasted 2 days.PSA:
For any surgery, orthopedic, general, gyn for the ladies, if the anesthesia provider offers a regional block TAKE IT if you can.
For total knees and hips take the "spinal" anesthetic if you can.
Sometimes a patient's history, past surgeries, or medications can make regional anesthesia contraindicated, but anytime you can get a "block" I highly advise you too. The benefits almost always outweigh the risks.
For a shoulder surgery you can have an Interscalene block Idone in the neck) and with modern long acting medications not have pain for days. Days as in plural.
YMMV, anatomy matters, and some people just don't like needles.
Thank you brotherDang hope you heal soon I'll say a pray for you
