If you're OK comparing the Democratic Party to the Third Reich, that's on you. Obama isn't Hitler and this isn't 1940's Germany. If you need anymore explanation or enlightenment than that, you're beyond my meager abilities.

I agree with the fact that the Dems and Obama are not Nazis, but that's not the point. It is perfectly valid to compare similar behaviors to the Nazis if that comparison is accurate. Are you saying that everything the Nazis did is now off limits to being criticized when those behaviors are reproduced today BECAUSE they are similar? Is pointing out that a policy or goal is the same as past tyrants now inappropriate? What kind of screwed up logic is that?

It really doesn't matter what party it is, if it supports its foundation on gun control then I question their vision. It's a valid question. If they supported their foundation on "hate speech" and the party trend was to attack anyone that disagreed with their philosophy and that was the definition of hate speech then I would call them out on it. Are there Democrats that support the second amendment, yes sir but sadly they are not the majority. I truely wish it not so.

Many Democrats are offended by the posting of data that supports their plank of more gun control. Ignore it if possible but the issue remains that the majority of the anti-second amendment bills come from a specific party. Sorry but it's the facts and anyone who cares to dig can review the voting record here in Georgia and make their own assumptions based on objective values as it pertains to individual gun rights.

It is really not limited to Nazi but rather any powerful governmental powers that want to eliminate threats to their power be they Nazi, Communist or Socialist. The first milestone in securing power is to disarm the population preferably without opposition. Best is to rein in the fears of the populace and use them to an advantage without firing a single shot.

It's been so successful historically to not be attempted yet another time is to be expected.

Comparing the things that are happening now to things that have happened in the past and trying for a different outcome is the only way we will ever learn from our mistakes. I'm not saying Obama is Hitler but some of the same ideals are there and I didn't put them there. That's not to say Obama will resort to genocide or any such thing but we are indeed walking down a dark path right now and unless the road forks I see it ending very badly. What happens when they do take our guns because they are to dangerous. Then they take your freedom of speech because it offends someone else. Then they take your religion because more wars ave been started over that than any other reason. And the list goes on. Eventually you have nothing left they don't give you. Everything else is protected by the second amendment and any intelligent person in power would see that that is the first step in total control. If you honestly think they do not fear us you are being naive. Just because Hitler laid the game plan of disarming the citizens and the Dems are currently tying to follow it doesn't make them Nazi's but it makes them alot of really bad words.
