Item Description: You just can't beat a RUGER SR1911CMDR. Especially after a trip to Bob's. I took this commander length gun (4.25" barrel as opposed to 5" barrel found on government length guns) to Bob Sims at Bob's Custom Firearms for him to do the voodoo that he do so well. I had him hard fit an Ed Brown Bushing to the slide to tighten lock up and enhance accuracy, throat and polish the barrel and feed ramp to enhance feeding and reliability, and perform probably one of the best trigger jobs my old grizzled trigger fingers has ever felt. I hit a 12 gauge hull at 15 yards with it. No lie. unreal. Novak sights have great daylight on each side of the front sight which is a nice plus for us non-20 year olds to get a great sight picture.
I shot about 400 flawless rounds through it after the work was completed to insure reliability. Ran like a sewing machine. I cleaned it up and went into the safe. I'm wanting to purchase some other items, so I thought my baby could use adoption.
What you see in the pictures is what you get. Pistol, 2 factory magazines, box, docs, pistol rug, bushing wrench, and the all important gun lock ( which in all fairness is one of the nicest I've seen). Also to sweeten the deal I have my old Dillon precision Askins avenger style holster and a Dillon single magazine pouch, so you are ready to carry. ( Just Add Ammo!)
For what you are looking at this is a really solid deal on an optimized piece of equipment. The work performed enhanced the performance and shootability of this piece. When you factor in the base price plus the gunsmithing ($160)and add the holster($30) and mag pouch ($20), you are getting all this for the price of the base gun plus tax.
I'm not interested in trades at this time, and please no low ball offers.
