The ad was 7 hours old by the time someone posted an I'll take it in the thread. Very easily possible it wasn't the first pm sent.

I explained to you this morning why you were second, somewhat cordially I might add, and for some reason you took offense. And here you are trying to sully my thread! You're right! Protocol has changed!! "I'll take it" doesnt mean **** without a pm. A pm that others sent before you!
Apparently, I'm unprincipled for not selling it to you...

"It is highly recommended that when you have gotten all terms worked out you send a confirmation PM that lists all the details of the deal and then save the response you get. This way if you need to leave a negative later the details of the deal will be indisputable by the other party. This also covers you for deals where the details were worked out on the phone or over email/text messages, as they are not “admissible” in itrader court
For the sake of itrader ratings, an “I’ll take it”means nothing without a committed deal." -ODT Rules & Guidelines.
